DST-i Setup

Step 3: Installation of DST-i software for Hino Vehicles to DST-i

  1. Double click the downloaded DST-i software for Hino Vehicles to initiate.
  2. The installation wizard is initiated and "Installation Confirmation" window appears.
    Confirm the input information and click "Next", if appropriate.
        
  3. "Installation Setup" window appears.
    • Confirm that the PC is ready to connect with Internet.
    • Connect DST-i to the PC with the USB cable.
    • Turn the mode switch of DST-i ON.
         
  4. Follow the procedure below when "Found New Hardware Wizard" window appears.
    Go to 9 when this window does not appear.
        
  5. Select "No, not this time" and then click "Next".
        
  6. Select "Install the software automatically" and then click "Next".
        
  7. Wait until software installation is completed.
        
  8. Click "Finish" to complete the installation when "Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard" window appears.
        
  9. Continue preparation of install.
    • Confirm that the PC is ready to connect with Internet.
    • Connect DST-i to the PC with the USB cable.
    • Turn the mode switch of DST-i ON.
     Click "Next" to continue, when the above preparation is completed.
        
  10. "Version Information Confirmation" window appears.
    Confirm the input information and no problem, click "Next".
        
  11. Execute software authentication.
    Input the access key in the license certificate for this software in "Software Authentication" window, and click "Next".
    *The following 36 characters are assigned to the access key. Input them correctly.

  12. Select a software authentication method and click "Next".
    *If there is no particular problem, select "Automatic Acquisition".
        
  13. The browser is initiated and "User Registration Information" window appears, when user registration is not completed on the DST-i.
    Go to Step 16 when user registration has been completed. Input the user information correctly, and click "Register".
        
  14. Click "Close" to exit the browser, when user registration is completed.
        
  15. Click "Next" in "Software certification" window.
        
  16. Wait until software authentication is completed.
        
  17. When software certification is completed, "Certification Completed" window appears.
    Confirm the input information and click "Next".
        
  18. "Installation Confirmation" window appears.
    Installation is started when going to the next step.
    Do not execute the following operations until installation is completed.
    • Do not disconnect the USB cable.
    • Do not turn off the mode switch of the DST-i.
    • Do not turn off the power supply of the PC or shut down the PC.
    • Do not execute other applications.
    Click "Next" to start installation.
        
  19. Wait until installation is completed.
        
  20. When "Installation Completed" window appears, installation is completed.
    Click "Complete" to exit.
        
  21. After completion of installation of DST-i software for Hino Vehicles to DST-i, go to Step 4.
