Preface

Objects to be prepared in advance

  • PC  *A PC conforming to the following "Required operating environment of the PC"
  • DST-i Main Unit
  • USB cable  *Use the USB cable supplied with the DST-i set.

Required operating environment of the PC

To use the DST-i, following PC operating environment is required.
  • OS：Microsoft Windows XP(SP2), Vista(32bit), 7(32bit,64bit)
  • CPU：Intel Pentium M at least 1.2GHz
  • RAM：at least 1 GB (Windows XP：at least 512MB)
  • Hard disc：at least 200MB space.
    　* Separate space in the hard disc is required to store data.
  • Display resolution：Min. 1024 x 768 dots
  • With USB 2.0 interface as standard
  • Internet Explorer 5.5 or later version should be installed.
  • Access to Internet is allowed. (Broadband internet connection is recommended.)
*The operating environment of the PC required for the diagnostic software installed in the PC must be conformed.

Some setup processes may be instructed in a different manner explained in this procedure depending on some OS or a version of Internet Explore installed in the PC. Read such the processes as the procedures that conform to the OS or Internet Explore installed in your PC.
